I truly believe Thomas Jefferson nailed it when he wrote, “All men are equal and that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among those are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” . The Declaration of Independence is such a beautifully written document, but I believe even a stronger spiritual document that our soul recognizes.
To me, it means that we ALL have a spirit that is seeking meaning and purpose. It’s that part of us that is drawn to HOPE. That we believe in something more. It’s the “light” in all of us. We all have to have hope. To find meaning and purpose, I believe is truly the reason we were born and to be able to support ourselves and our families while doing so. It is why so many are literally dying to get into our country.
So when I feel fatigued or deflated, I remember how blessed I am to be able to
pursue a life and chase a dream that only belongs to me.
I don’t have to do this, I GET to do this.
All that is possible, is possible for you.
