What Are You Most Excited About In Your Life Right Now?

When meeting someone for the first time, instead of asking "what do you do", writer, Liz Gilbert likes to ask, "what are you most excited about in your life right now?"  I . Love. This. I especially love what I call seeing that "soul spark"moment when you see a person's face literally 'light up' when asked this question.   When I turned it around I asked myself that, the ideas flooded in. You know, they are the ones that make your skin tingle, then ones that come right away. Making from meaning, the Silver Savior video project of bringing art and community together, my upcoming workshop, Miracles In The Mountains to explore this question further together. Try this out meeting someone new, it's really exciting to...

What Can We Learn From The BIRDS?

I live on a lake at 8500 feet above sea level in the rocky mountains, just east of the Continental Divide. Lately, the winds have been rocking everything unscrewed to the deck and howl against the windows sealed shut. I am warm inside, thankfully, but I dream of the spring when the Red Tail hawk couple will return. You see, it seems I inherited their favorite tree perched above the lake eye level to my deck,  to have their babies in. The Hawkins family, as I have nicknamed them, usually return in late March, assess the damage to their windblown nest, add many giant limbs to it and then wait. And wait. On Mother’s day last year the happy couple gave birth to two babies. I watched for months...

Our own.   And it got me to thinking about the 'story' of our country right now.  Despite all the...

“I come from America, which has to be the classic, ultimate, then they broke the mold incubator of not knowing who you are until you find out. -Seymour Krim

I truly believe Thomas Jefferson nailed it when he wrote, “All men are equal and that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among those are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” . The Declaration of Independence is such a beautifully written document, but I believe even a stronger spiritual document that our soul recognizes. To me, it means that we ALL have a spirit that is seeking meaning and purpose. It’s that part of us that is drawn to HOPE. That we believe in something more. It’s the “light” in all of us. We all have to have hope. To find meaning and purpose, I believe is truly the reason we were born and to be...

Greetings Dear Sweet Bird Family!

Hard to believe just a year ago this week I moved into the Artranch, a dream come true above Boulder. The year has literally flown by as I surround myself in art, animals, nature, and the heartfelt people that I love to share this beauty with. I am so profoundly grateful for the experiences I have daily here and excited to see the beginning of summer right around the corner and want to share this beautiful place with you! I invite you to join me for the Release the Vision 2019 at the Silver Savior Artranch! Let's face it, just the simple act of living is risky, so why not make an investment in yourself and go after what is truly in your heart to do? The...
